Last night, Paul and I planted a few more flats of tomatoes. It seems as though you can never have enough. I also planted some flat leaf Italian parsley and lavender. Last year, my lavender pursuits crashed and burned, but this year I am hopeful and expect results. Fingers crossed everyone, fingers crossed.

Two times in one week we’ve had people baffled to know that you grow potatoes by planting potatoes, or pieces of potatoes.  It’s true.  I know, I know, you learn something every day.  You can even grow potatoes in a barrel full of straw, crazy.

The weather has been playing tricks on us here lately.  The days have been in the mid 70’s.  This morning however, it was 37 degrees.  This part of the country can still have late season freezes up into April, so look out for yourselves Northwest Arkansans and beyond.
